New Features in New Indian Cars
New cars are just flooding into the Indian market. The competition is getting tougher and the features in cars are just getting better with the production of new cars. In this article, let’s have a look at some of the finest features introduced in the cars that have just debuted on the Indian road. Features of four new cars that have come into India have been described.
The Bentley Mulsanne comes fully loaded with state-of-the-art technology. Unlike other luxury cars that lack good fuel economy, the Mulsanne gives a pretty decent mileage. The special feature in this car is the customization it offers. The car gives the buyer a choice of 114 paint colours, 21 carpet colours, 9 wood veneers and 24 interior leather hide. All of these will be tanned using an age-old process to make sure this future classic is remains on the road for long. Variable displacement is another amazing feature. Four of the eight cylinders remain idle while on the drive.
Next, we have the cool Ford Figo whose engine is packed with the latest SEFI technology that can extract 70 bhp at 6,250 rpm and a torque of 102 Nm at 4000 rpm. This is small car that has so many features that are actually present in the bigger sedans and it is sure going to set new records. It features safety features like airbags, ABS, 3-point seat belts, engine immobilizer and more. When the speed exceeds 96 kmpl, the hazard warning lamp gets activated asking the drivers trailing behind to be careful about the Figo’s sudden brakes.
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe just came into the Indian market. This is one aggressive and muscular car that can drive anyone crazy. The best equipment, first-class technology and high safety standards; all come to life in this luxury car. It is the first coupe from Mercedes-Benz in India. The special 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission makes the gears change with small sudden moves allowing optimum ratios to be maintained anytime and every time. The consumption of fuel is also less. The remarkable acceleration of the car makes sure that the E-Class Coupe stands ahead in all traffic situations.
Coming to the new Volkswagen Polo, it is a premium car from the stables of VW. The designs of the sizzling hot car have been taken from the Tiguan and Golf car. Space, safety, comfort and fuel efficiency – these are features that the Polo has not compromised on. The Polo was the European Car of the Year for the year 2009 and this year, it has come into the Indian market. With its tilt and telescopic power steering, the Polo does not add strain on the driver during long journeys which are believed to be tiresome. The new Polo also comes with the luxury of space.
