Hunter Leveling Guide For Each Hunter Type
This hunter leveling guide walks the reader through the three builds affecting the leveling of hunters.
Hunters are often considered the easiest, not to mention the fastest, class to play in the World of Warcraft. Hunters have excellent solo capabilities and distinct capacity to own and develop beasts for beter tanking mobs and background support. Needless to say, Beast Mastery is the best route for players who want to get to higher levels fast. The other 2 are the survival hunter and the marksmanship hunter.
{Beast Mastery Hunter} – With little to no downtime, the Beast Mastery tree is the best leveling route for most hunters. Of all the classes in the World of Warcraft, only the hunter has particular focus on building up the pet for faster leveling up. There are many types of pets available to Hunters, but it is usually those with high DPS that are chosen by players who need level up fast.
Pets, however, are not yet available until you get to level 10. After this, you will have to start distributing your DPS points to your pet. The best way to do this is to focus on Endurance Training which should be sustained from levels 10 to 14. This is then followed by distributing your next 5 points between Thick Hide and Improved Revive Pet until you get to level 19.
Once you reach this point, you can place more confidence on the skills of your pets. You may now consider giving your character some of your points and develop is marksmanship abilities. However, given that you are continuing with the Beast Mastery route, your next order of business is to distribute your next 4 points to Unleashed Fury which should then be followed by maximizing your beast’s Ferocity.
At level 29, Bestial Discipline should be maximized, followed by Intimidation with DPS of 1/1 at level 32. Now go back to Unleashed Fury and give 1 point to this talent. Maximize Improved Aspect of the Monkey and start distributing points to Frenzy, sustain this until you’re passed level 35. To finish off the easiest way to reach level 40, you should start focusing on The Beast Within.
{Marksmanship Hunter} – After getting your pet at level 10, you can start working your way through the Marksmanship tree, if you want a character that is great for PvP. This route is the easiest to follow and should not need much thinking. You only have to work your way down to Trueshot Aura up to their maximum until you reach the higher levels.
{Survival Hunter} – If following this hunter leveling guide, you should begin with allotting points to Hawk Eye from levels 10 to 12, followed by Savage Strikes up to level 14, Improved Wing Clip up to level 17, and Deflection until you reach level 19. Leave it there for a bit and jump to Deterrence and Clever Traps from levels 20 to 22. Survivalist follows these two. Give it 2 points until you reach level 24 and begin on maximizing your DPS for Surefooted. Return to Survivalist and add one point while maximizing your Counterattack at level 30. Throughout levels 31 to 33, your focus should be the distribution of points to Killer Instinct. From this level, you can decide whether you will follow the route towards talents that immobilize your target, increase your skills for melee or enhance your chance of survival.
