can i use a flea collar and spoton treatment at the same time the pet shop owner said i could kitten is 8 mnth?

i have a 8 mnth old kitten and she has got fleas from my older cat as the spot on treatment from johnsons never worked i have put a flea collar on from buphar and spot on treatment from buphar aswell is that o.k.

The best people to take advice from is your vet.

Collars while they work can cause cats all sorts of problems, do you know that some cats can get their front paw stuck under the collar, it does happen and causes severe injury. Spot on treatments are much better and Johnsons is an ok one to use, I use frontlind for my 2 cats.
