Is this normal, or just cute? ?

I have a 6 week old kitten, and whenever he nibbles on my hand or paws with it (not scratch) he always licks the area after as if to say sorry. My last cat wasn’t that sociable so i don’t really know if that’s what cats do, or if my wee kit really likes me!
Yeah i know he is really young and should still be with his mum, but i rescused him, i didn’t take him away!
My last kittens were only 4 weeks old, i found them abandoned

He’s actually probably trying to figure out how to nurse on your fingers. At six weeks old he should still be with the mother cat – he’s not fully weaned. Kittens should stay with the mother cat until they’re at least 8 weeks old – ten weeks even better. Why do you have a kitten this young?
