Would joint pain mean lactic acid buildup?

So for 1 plus year I have been having joint pain in my ankles, knees, and sometime wrist. It happens randomly and the pain is inside the bon. I was wondering if it might be a buildup of lactic acid since I always have nasal problems making me breath with my mouth which doesn’t give enough oxygen. I noticed that I usually have pain when I either have a congested or runny nose. Would this joint pain be caused because of the build up of lactic acid.

That would not be a typical cause of joint pain. Joint pain can be caused by many types of injuries or conditions. No matter what causes it, joint pain can be very bothersome.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder that causes stiffness and pain in the joints. Osteoarthritis involves growth of bone spurs and degeneration of cartilage at a joint. It is very common in adults older than 45 and can cause joint pain.

Joint pain may also be caused by bursitis (inflammation of the bursae). The bursae are fluid-filled sacs that cushion and pad bony prominences, allowing muscles and tendons to move freely over the bone.

Gout (especially found in the big toe)
