Determine the max allowable load on a bolted joint using five 4 mm diameter bolts of A325-X (152MPa max)?
It depends on what your definition of failure is. If failure is defined as exceeding the ultimate stress on your fasteners and the load is applied as a tensile load to all of the bolts, then the allowable load is given by
F = (4*bolt_area)*max_stress/FoS
where FoS is the required factor of safety.
If failure is gapping of the joint, then the applied load has to be limited by the amount of preload in the joint. Generally, aerospace fasteners are torqued to 65% of yield strength. Based on this, you can derive the max allowable load.
