Fence Shock
What are the pros and cons of getting shocked by an electric fence daily?

If someone were to touch an electric fence daily, and it would shock them over time, would it like not hurt as much or, could it help your heart be stronger or could it make your heart weaker?

(This is not a high voltage fence by the way)

Thanks!
What, I put this in like some gardening thing, not computers… sorry.

Firstly, as one of the previous writers writes, it’s not the voltage – it’s the amps that kill you. 32 Volts is the minimum voltage required to kill a human from all the medical research we’ve read.

Now the shock you get from touching an electric fence creates an instantaenous non-voluntary muscular response, that is, you don’t touch it, think it hurts, and then pull back. The electrical current from the fence causes your muscle to contract before your central nervous system can even think about it.

So, we’re certainly not of the opinion that you could build up your resistance to touching a fence over time so time to move onto learning something else we think….hang the warning sign onto it and move on.

Best regards,

Geoff
