Can I throw away a bitten rechargeable camera battery?
My dog chewed on it. -.- And I don’t want to throw it away because it said don’t throw away.
It depends on what kind of battery it is. It is safe to throw away lithium-ion batteries (most cell phone and laptop batteries) because they are non-toxic. Regular alkaline flashlight batteries are toxic and should be recycled. Lead-acid car batteries are DEFINITELY toxic and it is illegal to throw them in the trash. You don’t say what kind of battery it is, but if it has instructions on it saying not to discard in the regular trash you should obey them and find a place that recycles batteries and recycle it.
