Dog appeasing pheromone?

My dog is extremely distructive and its driving me nuts!!! She has been knocking over stuff she can reach on tables, pulling outlets out of the wall, and pushing over any trashcan on the floor (even if its empty). Im soooo sick of it so I asked my vet and he recommended the DAP thing. I was a little skeptical at first but no matter what I do, yelling at her, distracting her, or just putting everything out of her reach (which is an inconvinience for me) she wont stop. Has it helped distructive behavior for you?
Shes always supervised. She does all of this right in my sight but I have to physically stop her from doing it. This has only started in the last month and half.
And shes 5 years old!

DAP may help, but exercise and training are probably better more reliable options and in the long run, they’ll be cheaper too.

Just trying to get a dog to stop a behavior is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to changing behaviors. Do you understand how dogs learn new behaviors? Have you ever taken a training class? Do you reward your dog for behaviors you like?
