Does an Electric Lawn Mower Make Sense for Us?
I am thinking of getting a cordless elecrtic lawn mower for my husband to use (I don’t do yard work). We have a very small yard, with maybe 400 sq. ft. of grass to mow. Right now, we have an old gas-powered mower that’s been handed down several times. It’s a pain to start up, keep gassed up, and use, so my husband mows less often than he should.
Is an electric lawn mower worth the price, especially considering we only have a small yard? We do have an outlet outside where it can be recharged – how often will it have to be charged, and for how long? Will it really be easier to use and more convenient than a gas-powered mower?
not that big at all so why even bother with electricity? why not go out and get one of the old fashioned reel mowers? as long as it is kept up every 5 or 6 days , keep the blade sharp, they are great and easy to use and cost a hell of allot less !
