Take in mind that alopecia is not similar to the ordinary male pattern baldness. Hence, when defining alopecia, the term “hair loss” is better accepted than “baldness.” The term Alopecia Areata refers to the condition wherein patches of scalp experience hair loss. If all hair on the head is lost, then the disorder is referred to as Alopecia Totalis. And if the disorder involves the loss of all body hair, it is called Alopecia Universalis. For some sufferers, the disease never progresses beyond Alopecia Areata. Other fortunate victims experience spontaneous hair regrowth without receiving any treatment. However, some others still lose eyebrows and eyelashes. This may lead to eye infections because there is no hair to protect the eyes from dust and sweat.
Finding the Right Method of Hair Loss Prevention
With all that has been said about alopecia, it boils down to the fact that there is a need to find the right hair loss prevention process to avoid those cases of alopecia. To make an implicative operation as to proceeding with hair loss prevention processes, it is crucial to first identify the causes of this medical condition. From this first step, the right process of hair loss prevention could be determined for the benefit of other individuals suffering from it and for others to avoid the condition.
