My dog (shiba inu) swallowed a razor blade?
my 22lb shiba inu, swallowed a razor blade, when i left to dry my laundry. i left the bathroom door open, and he dug out an old razor from the wastebasket. i searched on here about this but only got an answer for a doberman which is a larger dog than mine… also, i wasnt able to get him to eat any bread to try to cushion it coming out, but i did notice he ate almost half of his food when i left to switch my laundry at the laundry mat.
just kinda irritating, that when he finally decides to eat something random, he choose a razor blade 
its a gillette razor blade the ones with the guard and 4 of them, i cant find a vet that has an emergency room in my area.
and he is acting totally normal like nothing has happened. i.e. running around and playing tug with me.
I know that this probably isn’t the answer you are looking for and i usually try to give at least an idea along with this but go to the vet. That sounds scary.
